"You mean the absolute world to me and I don't know what I'd do without you."

There's just something about senior horses.
Miss Demeanor, "Sparkle" is a very beloved senior mare. At 30 years old, Sparkle has been Megan's best friend for years. Together, they've done everything from Fairs, to hunter/jumper shows, to Eventing and beyond. This fiery, red mare has always been game for anything, and puts her whole heart into everything Megan has asked of her.
Friendship & Partnership
"I have had her for 15 years, we've done everything from western to pony hunters to dressage to eventing. Our biggest accomplishment was 6th at the Downeast Medal Finals out of 25, and 2nd at our first ever beginner novice event."
Outside of competing, Sparkle and Megan have enjoyed many long trail rides, countless nights chatting about the struggle of being a teen, and hundreds of grooming sessions.

"They don't judge, and they're the best listeners. They make me get out of my own head because I have to be in tune with their needs."

Megan and her mother Jill Jenkins own Littlemore Farm in beautiful Tamworth, New Hampshire, where they keep their own horses and offer boarding and lessons.
This Session was extra special for me. I've had the pleasure of watching this special pair for many, many years. I boarded with Megan and Jill in high school, and they cared for my horses like their own when I lived across the country. Megan and I have been like sisters for many years now, and Sparkle is like one of my own. Even in her old age, her heart is strong and her eyes shine bright.
