"These girls have a special kind of love that I’ve never seen between two horses."

This Summer, Brittany booked a Session with her lovely Dutch Warmblood mare, Bella. A few days before our shoot date, Brittany reached out asking if Bella's best friend Mare (yes, the mare named Mare!) could join in on the fun.

Of course, I said YES! One of the things I love most about being an Equine Photographer is learning about the unique and special stories, personalities, and quirks of the horses and riders I work with. I get to take all these things and turn them into a heartfelt memory that will bring owners joy over and over again.

A friendship worth capturing.

To be quite honest...usually two horses in one photo is a result of two photos merged into one. Not with these two! What you see above is exactly how these two looked at each other...as if they were having some kind of conversation about how weird humans are!

At Cutler Farm, a large majority of the horses are young, athletic horses in their glory days. Mare and Bella stick together as the senior residents of the Farm, and their owners have become great friends as well.

The time to capture your memories is now.
