Ok I'm going to preface this by saying...this is a GUIDE.

While, yes, there is something to say about my "professional" opinion as far as what colors go well together, the mood different colors give off, etc, at the end of the day this is YOUR SHOOT! If you want to wear a hot pink t-shirt against the orange leaves, I'm here for it. I am here to celebrate YOU! If you love what you're wearing, that is what matters most. That being said, part of my job is to give you all the information you need to have the most beautiful photos. I would love to share my Fall Color Palette to guide you in that direction...

My "go to" colors...

Rust. Mustard. Emerald. Navy. Burgandy. Eggplant. Olive Green.

In creating my color palette for Autumn, I consider the overall "mood" of Fall and the colors we have to contend with. Here in New England, we can bet on vibrant orange and red leaves! I find these colors to be complimentary to the leaves without blending in. The dark, cool tones give me the "cozy" feeling that Fall brings with it's sweaters and pumpkin spice lattes while also giving your portraits a timeless, sophisticated finish.

Other considerations...

So, we have a start, but how do we choose from here? During our Planning Call a few weeks before your photoshoot date, we'll discuss your horse's coat color along with what you love and what feels most "you."
